A number of our customers require us to provide traceability for the components and products we use to build test systems for them. We understand that this is an essential requirement particularly for defence and military customers. To help meet this requirement, we offer four levels of traceability. We offer these to ensure no use of counterfeit materials and that the quality of all purchased items used meet our customers quality standards.

We work with our customers closely during our proposal process to ensure that traceability is a key part in the requirement discussions. The proposals we provide will include a clear indication of what level of traceability we have quoted against.

We also work closely with our suppliers to ensure that they can meet the traceability and quality standards our customers require.

RoHS Compliance

The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2011/65/EU) aims to prevent hazardous substances from entering the production process and thereby keep them out of the waste stream.

At Amfax we can supply test engineering solutions that adhere to the recommendations within the RoHS directive. These can include use of lead free components as well as other materials that have been determined as hazardous.  If you require lead free solutions please let us know during your initial discussions with us. Our internal systems enable us to provide quotations that clearly state that this solution is to supplied as lead free.
