NEW: PECture(TM) Test Fixture Interface Technology for PXI based ATE

Amfax and MAC Panel have teamed up to provide a unique WIRE-FREE Test fixture technology. We have created an alternative solution to traditional wired ITAs called PECture(TM). The name is a combination of PEC (Printed Electronic Circuit) and fixture. Using a back to back PEC arrangement inside the ITA we have been able to reduce the size of the ITA while making it significantly more reliable, rugged and flexible. Inside the ITA, one PCB board connects directly to the PXI instrumentation via the standard MAC Panel DAKs available on the SCOUT platform, the other board has system specific connectors mounted on it that allow direct connection to the UUT. Additional components can be mounted directly on to the PEC to accommodate signal conditioning, loop backs and additional routing requirements. Bed of nails fixtures

​The traditional method for testing PCB's is the bed of nails fixture. With our fixtures we use only gold plated contacts ensuring a reliable, robust and long lasting fixture.

We can provide fixtures with mechanical of vacuum assisted actuation as well as fixtures to test multiple DUT's simultaneously. These can mount directly against the multi interconnect fixture or can be free standing with umbilical cable connectivity to the measurement instrumentation.

Any size of fixture can be provided ensuring that whatever your bed of nails requirement we can supply a fixture tailored to your exact needs. We ​can also supply vacumn pumps, umbilical cabling and mechanical assembly.

Self Test Fixture Units 

​Our Self Test Fixture Units are a useful solution for providing self test diagnostics on your new test system. The fixtures can be customised to provide the capability of a "Gold Standard UUT" meaning that you can test the functionality of your tester whenever is required.
