System support & maintenance contracts

To keep your test systems running smoothly, we offer a range of innovative system support & maintenance contracts

System support, Preventative Maintenance and Obsolescence Reporting

​Amfax provide through life support to ensure test systems remain operational for up to 25 years. We currently provide support to MoD platforms and tailor packages to individual customer needs. These packages can include support, maintenance/repair, obsolescence reporting and upkeep of documentation. We also offer fixed price time based support in the form of our System Support Contracts

System Support Contracts (SSC)

In order to meet your needs for test-system support during important project critical periods such as the introduction of a new product or the addition of new system features to an existing solution, we offer a range of off the shelf system support contracts designed to meet your specific test system support requirements. Our SSC packages provide you with the confidence that you will have the right engineering expertise at hand when you need it most.  Purchasing one of our system support contracts gives you the peace of mind that the support is there when your engineering teams need it, with no need to raise additional purchase orders that can often take time to organize and get signed off.

Our experienced engineering team can assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, integration of new system features, and providing additional software development as your needs develop. By choosing one of our SSC packages, you get a block of support hours and a guaranteed initial response time to ensure you get the support you need. Each SSC option includes on-site support time so that our engineers can ensure that the modifications and updates carried out are operating correctly. Preventative System Maintenance (PMC) can be provided within the contract. Components used for system maintenance will be converted to hours and deducted from the total hours included in the contract.

Global System Support Contracts - (SSC Global)

We understand that many of the systems we deliver are used at customer sites worldwide. To ensure continued support for these systems we offer our SSC support contracts tailored for global support. They are based on the standard Gold and Platinum levels of SSC mentioned above but are tailored to provide support globally.Preventative system maintenance (PMC) can be included within these packages. "RunGuard"  - The support you need when test system uptime is critical

We understand that many of our customers use the test systems we deliver on manufacturing lines where manufacturing uptime is critical. Any failure of a test system eats into your product delivery times, throughput and profit. Our "RunGuard" support packages are designed specifically to meet your needs and include holding essential spare parts, and a fast turnaround of on-site system support. Extended system warranties

Many of our customers are looking for extended warranty of the solutions we deliver. To facilitate this, we offer extended warranty for one, two, five and ten years on each system we deliver. This extended warranty includes all items within the system, providing complete peace of mind that whatever issues occur they will be fixed quickly and at no additional charge. Our extended warranties are offered at a fixed rate of 10% of the systems original purchase price per year*. Discounts apply for extended warranty contracts taken out for longer than 2 years. Please contact us to discuss your specific warranty requirements.

*Based on the value of the system. There is a minimum charge for extended warranty for smaller systems and cables. 

Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PMC)

We offer a preventative maintenance option for our existing customers. We perform a "health check" on your systems on a six month and annual basis to ensure that it is running smoothly and will continue to do so. Preventative maintenance is usually scheduled to fit around your production needs. 
 
Obsolescence is a major problem in the design and through life support of equipment. Although appropriate checks are made in the design process it is necessary to carry out annual investigation and report to enable equivalent replacements, ‘end of life’ purchases,  or propose design modifications to extend the useful life of the system.
 
We are also able to maintain drawing packages and use effective change control methods to ensure the build status of systems in the field are known. Our support activities also extend to the inclusion of existing legacy equipment. We are able to provide reverse engineering services, generate support documentation, review and provide CE marking for these equipments.
