Technical Field Sales Engineer (FSE)
Amfax design, manufacture, integrate and support test equipment and engineering solutions. Our
experienced electrical, electronic, mechanical and software engineers complimented by our high quality
manufacturing team are seeking a motivated Field Sales Engineer to work closely with them to develop
the business.
Reports to: Managing Director.
Responsible for:
Providing field sales and account management for Amfax’s UK customer
base for design, manufacture and support of test equipment solutions.
Main Tasks
- Identify and develop new customers (60% of time).
- Maintain and grow allocated/existing customers (40% of time).
- Prepare and present technical presentations.
- Work closely with Amfax core team.
- Generate and maintain New Business plan.
- Generate and upkeep monthly forecasts for existing and anticipated business.
- Liaise with Amfax engineers during proposal generation.
- Gain benefit from working with Amfax Strategic Partners.
- Understand Amfax’s competitors’ strengths & weaknesses.
- Spend at least 3 days per week visiting customers.
Qualifications
- Engineering background – Analog / Digital design or Test Development Engineering.
- Field Sales experience preferred.

- Ability to form close working relationships with customers and Amfax team.
