• Customer software
  All software interfaces with the hardware had already been developed and data was made available to Amfax via OPC and SQL.
• Amfax server software
  Providing a stable interface platform between the OPC and SQL environments and the outside world. Using a server module allows for expandability, or deployment on similar projects where remote viewers are required.
• Amfax client software
  Allowed multiple connections from LAN or WAN computers. Functionality and scope of the client applications was controlled by our client, we provided advice on GUI layout and design, and the software design for the networking methodology

All Amfax client and software server components are developed using National Instruments Labview. Our client was able to offer this software as an addition to their own server software. There was no requirement to purchase any further license as Labview offers a free distributed run time engine.

Our client was able to concentrate on what they did best, asset monitoring, and we used our expertise in networking and system distribution to deliver a fully networked application.
