AmFax have been developing solutions for the Global System for Mobile communications for more than 10 years.

We have many hundreds of test systems and over 1000 TPS's (test fixture & test software packages) deployed worldwide.  Including the UK, Europe, USA, Mexico, Brazil and China.

AmFax have the first PXI based BTS (Base Transceiver Station), functional test bench deployed for GSM testing worldwide.  Utilising our PXI-5020 Measurement Suite package, we have been able to reduce test time from >150 minutes to below 70, reduced system cost by 30% and halved the physical footprint.

The flexibility of our software centric platform allows this same system to test 3G (UMTS/WCDMA) hardware with NO further instrumentation required.  Further reducing and protecting your capital investment.  This same system can also test any other GSM/WCDMA/UMTS enabled device, such as mobile phones and modems.  A truelu generic RF test platform.

 PXI Based BTS Test Bench

We design, manufacture and deploy our solutions from the UK with local support provided world-wide.  Engineers are located as practically close to our customers manufacturing sites and the support structure is developed to suit the particular application.  If you have your own support resource, AmFax will train them to provide 1st line support, backed up by a local engineer and free telephone and e-mail support, 24hrs a day.

The AmFax PXI-5020 GSM/EDGE measurement suite is a highly optimised platform for accurately testing GSM & EDGE enabled devices.

The software provides a highly integrated set of measurement routines that can be integrated into the manufacturing process or utilised in development.

The AmFax proprietary software has been developed to integrate seamlessly into the production test environment.

Delivered as LabVIEW VI's, TestStand Custom Step Types or a Library of .dll's for C/C++ ADE's.  All supplied with stand alone .exe's for proving and lab applications.

The power of visualisation within LabVIEW and TestStand provides a set of Execution Types for Production, Debug and Edit modes.  Where the Production type provides little visualisation and the fastest execution speed; Debug, where 'pop-ups' provide result visualisation (much as the example here) and then Edit mode, where settings and parameters can be changed, new functions added and even the look and feel of the graphic can be edited to suit your requirements.
